We have a brand-new opportunity for an experienced Principal/Associate Electrical Engineer to join our MEP team based in our Leeds office. 

It's a great time to be joining the MEP team - we have a proven track record in the North of England, with offices in Leeds, Manchester and more recently Scotland. Working collaboratively, you will be joining a fun, highly engaged team who love what they do. Our team have a wealth of experience and will offer support, development opportunities and expert advice. 

Your role will include: 

  • Being a pro-active member of the MEP team, overseeing the day to day running of projects and working collaboratively with our other divisions across a number of building services. 
  • Maintaining and developing external relationships with clients and taking responsibility for the commercial performance of projects, including negotiating additional fees and facilitating new/continued work. 
  • Acting as a role model within the team, ensuring projects are delivered to a 'right-first-time' approach, ensuring appropriate quality management procedures are in place and are adhered to. 

Our Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health (MEP) division: 

Our MEP team are specialists in energy, sustainability and engineering design. We bring buildings to life and create award winning, high-performance environments that enhance the built environment - working across all sectors including commercial, industrial, leisure, retail, manufacturing, logistics, heritage and residential. 

We offer a fresh approach to MEP, getting involved early, working collaboratively with the design team, highlighting options, guiding design development and using our expertise to help clients make key decisions.

To succeed in this role, you'll need: 

  • Relevant qualification within electrical or building services engineering at HNC, HND, Bachelor's or Masters status - ideally you have secured or are working towards chartered status. 
  • Experienced Principal/Associate Electrical Engineer with a track record of working to UK regulations on a range of mainstream building projects. 
  • Experienced team manager and previous exposure to recruitment, performance management and career development. 
  • Able to win work and support with business operations such as marketing and project finances. 
  • Knowledge of BIM processes, Revit, IES/Amtech. 

We are actively looking to grow our electrical engineering team across Leeds and Manchester.
