Hydrock is sponsoring and speaking at a CIWEM led seminar on materials management in London on Thursday 4th April 2019.
The seminar will provide an update to landowners, developers, regulators, lawyers, consultants and contractors on how CL:AIRE’s Definition of Waste: Development Industry Code of Practice is being used, and often abused, and the implications from the recent extension to landfill tax rules by HMRC.
Danny Hope, a leading advisor on the importance of robust materials management plans, will speak on behalf of Hydrock. Danny will outline the implications that developers face from the changes to the landfill tax rules if they don’t have an environmental permit, waste exemption or materials management plan in place.
Danny is joined on stage for the afternoon seminar by Karen Andrews of the Environment Agency, Keith Davidson of ELM Law and Mills & Reeve, Rob Ivens from Mole Valley District Council, and Mark Field from Vertase FLI.
The event is hosted by the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) at their head office in Farringdon, London, and Hydrock is also delighted to be a sponsor of the event, alongside Mills & Reeve, Vertase FLI and i2Analytical.
