We’re extremely proud to announce that our Women of Fire group has been shortlisted for three incredible Women in Fire Safety Awards 2022.
Shuyuan Lin has been shortlisted for the Inspirational Award, Zuzanna Bialkowska has been shortlisted for the Rising Star Award and Hydrock’s Women of Fire group has been shortlisted for Fire Safety Team of the Year.
We spoke to Annie Flores, Fire Engineer and member of the Women of Fire group, who said:
“We entered the awards because we are massively proud of everything that we’ve managed to achieve in such a short space of time. Our group is now 25-women strong, and comprises people in roles across the entire Fire Division. We have become a really supportive community of women, with the aim to make positive differences for everyone.”
Speaking to Shuyuan about being shortlisted for the Inspirational Award, she said:
“I’m excited to be a finalist for the Inspirational Award. It is very encouraging and motivating to know that my contributions are recognised, and it makes me feel valued within the team.”
Zuzanna, shortlisted for the Rising Star Award, said:
“Being a finalist in such a great competition definitely motivates me for further development. I am feeling incredibly proud of myself and it makes me believe that all the hard work pays off.”
