Hydrock named top consultancy for second consecutive year at Bristol Property Awards
27th Nov 2023We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been named ‘Consultancy of the Year’ for the second consecutive year at the Bristol Property Awards 2023.
Bristol is not just a place on the map; it's where our story began, where passions ignited, and where we now continue to shape the city for the better. We're immensely proud to be an integral part of Bristol's thriving property sector, a community that has fostered our growth and inspired our success.
To pick-up this award for two years running is a significant achievement. It means that the calibre of our work hasn’t gone unnoticed and that we’re making a positive impact on the Bristol property market.
Ric Hampton, regional director — Bristol and South, said:
“This is the latest of so many proud moments we’re had in Bristol, and across the UK, this year. What’s glaringly obvious to me is that we're more than just a consultancy; we're a team of passionate individuals driven by a shared purpose – to make a genuine difference for our people, our communities and our planet.”
There are many factors that contributed to our success. But none clearer than that we have an incredibly strong team of professionals who are passionate about what they do, which in turn leads to creative and innovative solutions that are making Bristol the fantastic city we all love.
In the past year, we've successfully completed a number of high-profile projects such as an estate decarbonisation programme for Millfield School, where we worked to shape their investment strategy, steering them to be carbon neutral by 2035.
Additionally, our commitment to giving back to the Bristol community is exemplified by the voluntary support provided by our MEP team to, Props, a local charity. We played a pivotal role in designing the MEP services for a new café in Fishponds, which has a focus on supporting adults with learning disabilities.
Multiple shortlistings
We’re proud to have also been shortlisted for the ‘Sustainability’ award for our transformative work on the aforementioned Millfield School.
Furthermore, Priscilla Chan, Senior Mechanical Engineer within our MEP team, was shortlisted for the Rising Star award. Nothing makes us prouder than seeing our people receive personal recognition — Priscilla's exceptional talent, enthusiasm, and achievements within her role means she’s already achieved star-status in our eyes. It won’t be the last the industry hears about her, we’re confident of that.
A huge congratulations to all the winners and nominees, and thank you to the Bristol Property Awards for a fantastic day.
