Hydrock ranked 29th in Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For list, 2017
24th Feb 2017Hydrock is celebrating another outstanding position in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For. Announced at last night’s awards ceremony in London (23rd February), Hydrock was placed an impressive 29th, positioning us inside the top 30 for three years running.
The annual ranking is widely acknowledged as the most rigorous and extensive research into employee engagement in the UK. All the scores and ratings that are assessed to compile the lists are based on employee opinions.
Commenting on the achievement, Dr Brian McConnell, Hydrock’s Managing Director, said: “Being placed 29th – within the top 30 companies for the third year running – is such a proud achievement for us all at Hydrock.
“That our ranking is based entirely on staff responses shows that the company is living by its values, putting the motivation and well-being of our people at the heart of what we do. We set out to create a genuine, fun atmosphere in our work and I think that the Best Companies survey demonstrates we’re succeeding.”
The citation on Hydrock by Best Companies states that 84% of employees are inspired by Brian McConnell’s leadership – 10th among mid-size organisations in the survey – with 86% believing the company is run on sound moral principles (13th in the survey).
