Hydrock selected for specialist public sector consultancy framework in the North East
14th Mar 2022We’ve been appointed by Prosper, a Framework Procurement Consortium, to its Design and Consultancy Services Framework for up to four years.
Originally established for social landlords in the North East to create greater efficiencies via a unified, OJEU compliant procurement platform, Prosper is now regarded as the partner of choice for many landlords, schools and local authorities in the region.
Tim Jennett, Head of Procurement at Prosper, said:
“We look forward to working with Hydrock who we know will bring quality and innovation to our new framework which will offer excellent solutions through direct award or further competition to our public sector partners and their residents.”
Hydrock has been awarded a place on Lot 3 (Civil & Structural Engineering), Lot 6 (Ground Investigation) and Lot 7 (M&E Engineering), and will now provide a proven best-value option for engineering design consultancy to housing providers and public sector organisations across the North East and North West of England.
John McElwee, Executive Director at Hydrock, said:
“We’re delighted to be appointed to this framework by Prosper. There’s a great opportunity for the North East to build on recent growth, drive forward new development and become a more prosperous region. Securing improvements to the places where we live, work and learn will have a huge influence on this, as will establishing efficiencies around how private and public sector organisations across the North East work together.”
In February 2022, Hydrock opened its first office in Newcastle. This framework appointment further enhances our presence in the region as our team grows as a multi-disciplinary engineering design, energy and sustainability consultancy in the North East, with social value running through everything we do.
Sharing our commitment to having a lasting positive impact, Prosper provides community-based funding for its customers through the Prosper Social Value Dividend which has delivered in excess of £2.3m of funding for a range of initiatives based around employability, training and sustainability community groups to enhance living experiences.
