We are delighted to welcome Kieran Cooper and Craig Lobban to Hydrock’s rapidly growing national fire safety engineering team.
Kieran joins Hydrock as Senior Fire Engineer having previously worked for Bureau Veritas. Having contributed fire engineering expertise to some of the largest developments in the South West, including Bournemouth University’s Fusio 2 Building and Howard Gardens in Cardiff, his cross-sector experience and knowledge are already proving a valuable contribution to the team. Kieran’s particular area of expertise lies within fire strategy development and providing pragmatic fire-engineered solutions within complex projects.
Based in Hydrock’s central Bristol office, he will be responsible for leading our fire engineering expertise in the region, building on a number of flagship projects such as 4 Glass Wharf and the University of the West of England’s (UWE) new multimillion pound engineering building.
Craig also joins Hydrock’s Bristol office as a Graduate Fire Engineer having completed a BEng in Mechanical Engineering at Robert Gordon University. Craig will be working on developing fire strategies and engineered solutions, and supporting the wider team with detailed analysis.
Kevin McKeown, Hydrock’s national fire engineering lead, commented: “It’s great to have Kieran and Craig join the team during an exciting time of growth and development. We have established ourselves as a truly national enterprise with an impressive client portfolio, working on large-scale, complex projects across the UK. Our track record has earned a reputation for high quality output and customer service, and Kieran and Craig will play an important role supporting the delivery of our busy pipeline ahead.”
