Charlie Craven

Charlie has worked in the Building Control profession for nearly 35 years with a with a range of experience in Local Authority and Approved Inspector roles.

He has provided building control services on a wide range of project types and construction, including hospitals, schools, hotels, offices, retail, residential (both small residential and large residential/mixed use developments) and for the MET Police, MoD and Crown Estate.

His expertise has developed through a range of roles and perspectives, from overseeing early stages training to building control project manager to company director.

With the ongoing changes to legislation and the entire building control process, Charlie has joined Hydrock, now Stantec’s digital safety consultancy team to help clients understand and navigate the new processes, including building safety services and Building Regulations compliance.
