Geoff Elliman

With over 35 years’ experience in the Building Control profession within both the public and private sectors, Geoff has a wealth of experience of leading teams working on commercial and mixed use higher-risk buildings.

Geoff's role within our Digital Safety team includes assisting clients in discharging their duties under the Building Control legislation, along with planning, managing and monitoring design work and coordinating matters relating to design work to ensure that, if built, the building complies with the Building Regulations.

As Commercial Director of one of the leading Approved Inspectors, Geoff previously led a Business Development team and was responsible for CRM to several blue-chip clients. Geoff was instrumental in the formation of the Building Consultancy team for HRBs. and led the bid team to secure places on the HSE tender to support the building Safety Regulator.

Geoff track record includes the redevelopment of the former BBC TV Centre in White City West London. This development included leisure facilities, retail, residential, offices and a hotel.

As a Fellow Member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers, Geoff has participated in interview panels for membership. Geoff has also been an assessor for the Construction Industry Council Approved Inspectors Register (CICAIR), serving on several committees and acting as chair on several panels.
