Jason Walker

Jason leads our civil and structural engineering team across the UK. He has an outstanding breadth of experience including major infrastructure design for the Hinkley Point C nuclear power station construction site, the remodelling of Birmingham New Street Station, the Doha Metro Gold Line project, and innovative sustainable design of primary and secondary schools.

Experienced working internationally, Jason has broad sector knowledge covering aviation, education, commercial, logistics and distribution, conservation/heritage, industrial, residential, later living, nuclear, rail and defence.

Jason is a passionate advocate of sustainability in engineering and is a driving force behind the enhancement of our net zero credentials in the structural engineering field.

He is well-versed in the use of building materials, such as steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures to the British, European, Saudi Arabia and American Codes of Practice. He has gained site experience through working as a resident site engineer on a variety of construction projects, allowing him to bring practical site experience to the design office and develop strong lead design capability.
