Joseph leads our utility-scale renewable energy consultancy service, working with clients who are developing, acquiring, constructing or operating renewable energy assets.

He has significant experience working on projects across northern and eastern Europe, and sub-Saharan Africa, advising on all renewable technologies and storage.

Joseph delivers feasibility studies on sites and technologies, supports clients with contract reviews and negotiations, community liaison, and environmental impact management. He also project manages the technical development of schemes to ensure a successful implementation.

From his career in sub-Saharan Africa, Joseph is deeply experienced at working on large-scale solar and wind portfolios, providing accessible technical and policy advice to both local and international developers and investors seeking to enter the emerging renewable markets.

Joseph’s career track record includes site-finding in South Africa to identify 1,000MW of wind and solar sites for a client, identifying landowners, conducting technical and environmental constraints mapping, negotiating contracts and project managing the development. He has also advised on a proposed 14MW wind project in Fife, Scotland; delivered acquisition due diligence on a portfolio of wind projects in Sweden and Romania; and short-listed and assessed sites across Botswana, Malawi and South Africa for large scale solar PV and wind development.
