Based in Birmingham, Paul leads our geo-environmental and geotechnical delivery across the Midlands, linking closely with our resource in Northampton.
Highly experienced in leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver civils, structural, transportation, survey and ecological outcomes, Paul has extensive experience in the residential, education and transport sectors. He also acts as an expert witness on environmental issues.
Paul has extensive experience of undertaking a wide range of geo-environmental studies relating to site investigation, risk assessment and mitigation, remediation, cost control and construction. His technical skills include managing large scale remediation of chemical works, former coking works, gas works, landfill sites and hydrocarbon spillages.
His career track record includes technical due diligence appraisals on sites across the UK for Homes England, being a framework director investigating and assessing highly contaminated sites for the Environment Agency, acting for the University of Nottingham, and being a member of an earthquake response team in New Zealand.
Paul is a Chartered Geologist and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management. He is also an assessor in his role as a UK Registered Ground Engineering Professional (RoGEP).
