Phil Hall

Phil leads one of the core civil and structural engineering teams based in Bristol. He is well regarded in the region for his ability to provide concise engineering solutions for large scale, complex building and infrastructure projects.

Specialising in building structures, and green and brown field site developments, Phil has an excellent knowledge of all engineering disciplines and successfully supports clients through planning applications and project delivery.

Phil has spearheaded designs for the emerging sector of inland Wave Pools, firstly in the UK with The Wave, Bristol, a multi-award winning ground-breaking project, followed internationally with projects in Australasia, Asia and Europe. As a keen surfer, Phil’s passion and extensive knowledge for the sector has provided innovative engineering designs for specialist technology provider WaveGarden, a relationship which has developed into a formal partnership delivering projects globally.

Integrated engineering projects between £5-50m in value is where Phil’s expertise lies, drawing on both his ability to build relationships with clients, designers and contractors and his extensive knowledge of civil and structural engineering, ensuring timely delivery of efficient designs.
