Ric is responsible for business development and raising company profile within our Bristol & South region. He also manages staff engagement and retention in the region, which consists of our Bristol, Almondsbury, Gloucester and Taunton offices.
Ric is a strong advocate for social inclusivity and is a member of LandAid SW, a charity within the property sector with a mission to end youth homelessness. He has recently been appointed to Bristol City Council’s Night Time Economy Advisory Panel, which has been designed to help support Bristol's cultural venues and night time economy, and working to make it a safer place for all.
Ric is equipped with in-depth technical knowledge and a solution-based attitude. He previously led the delivery of our acoustic engineering and air quality services across a range of sectors including education, residential, retail, leisure and healthcare.
In 2018, Ric commented on the tensions that the 'Agent of Change' principle within the revised NPPF has brought, specifically between nightclubs and proposed new housing developments.
Ric has contributed both noise and acoustic studies and modelling on a range of schemes that include the multi-award winning UK Hydrographic Office, The Wave, Victoria House in Manchester, Mersey Reach in Liverpool, and the new, award-winning, Faculty of Engineering and Design at the University of West of England (UWE) campus.
Ric is also a member of the South West Leadership Board for Business in the Community as part of our national membership of BITC.
