Richard Baker

Richard's experience within the construction industry, spans project management and strategic and detailed design of civil engineering infrastructure solutions, including a detailed understanding of the identification and resolution of site constraints and a fundamental awareness of planning.

Richard has developed significant engineering and planning experience working on a large range of schemes for both public and private sector clients across a range of sectors including regeneration, residential, education, healthcare, environmental, commercial and industrial.

He is particularly experienced in managing the design and implementation of sustainable urban drainage schemes and the consultation required with the various Approval Bodies in Wales. He is also an expert on the design of earthworks, development level design, highway infrastructure, hard landscaping design, contaminated land remediation and flood risk analysis.

His experience includes key roles in the development of a number of major regeneration schemes including Llys Cadwyn in Pontypridd and Landore Court in Cardiff, as well as his role in the award-winning Bay Technology Centre in Swansea.

Richard excels at the early formation of civil engineering infrastructure strategies and designs, through feasibility, planning and funding stages, on to completion.
